Betrayal.
It was sunny day. When George
came home he saw mess and destruction. He started to call his brother Fred, but
nobody answered him. George saw a piece of paper on the coffee table. It was
note from the criminals: “If you wanna see your brother alive – prepare 100 000$
and wait our call.
George was panic. Of course he
called the police immediately. A lot of people arrived to him: detectives,
criminalists, corner. He spoke with two detectives – detective Ryan and
detective Esposito. They asked him a series of standart questions and then they
left.
In the evening somebody called
George. It was him. Abductor. (bad boy) Voice was changed and he said that he’s
waiting him with money in an abandoned ware house in midnight. George reported
it to the police.
When George came to the
warehouse where are nobody. After 5 minutes he saw a man in a mask. Without gun
what was very strange for criminal person. But he came with the bat. It was so
strange because George could to swear that it’s his brother’s bat. When
stranger asked the money – his voice was so familiar. George just did a step
when they heard shouting like: “NYPD. DROP THE BAT AND LAY DOWN ON THE FLOOR!”
Police did his job. When they took off the mask that saw - it was Fred. George
was shocked but detectives knew it before this moment. They found that Fred had
problems with the money, games of chances and Irish mafia. So he needed money.
George was shocked of brother’s distrust.
He still can’t forgive him…
